Our Species Directory makes it easy (and fun) to get to know the seafood that’s caught right here along our coast.

Start by heading to the Explore tab and selecting “Meet the Seafood.” From there, you can scroll through beautifully organized species cards or use the search bar to dive straight into a fish you’re curious about.

Want to eat with the seasons? Filter by year-round, winter, spring, summer, or fall to see what’s available right now.

Click into any species to learn its proper and Latin name, seasonal availability, flavor profile, and our favorite way to cook it. You’ll also see who’s catching it, with direct links to local fishermen profiles, so you can put a face and a story to your seafood.

You can even start from a fisherman’s profile and explore the species they catch, all hyperlinked for easy browsing. It’s seafood transparency, made simple and delicious.
